The special feature of this top floor, L shape apartment is the huge lichthof, which in this case actually brings a lot of light to the back areas of the flat. It made possible to give a window, or even a balcony door not only for the rooms, but for the kitchen and both bathrooms. A 1 bed- 1 bathroom apartment was transformed into a 2 bed- 2 bath apartment, where also the kitchen could keep its separation, not needing to put it in a corridor or transform the living area into a typical American kitchen. The design is very simple, however the real oak and stone floors suggest immediately the high quality.
